Ana Vizinho
From ticket office accounting to luxury hotel finantial management, helping both small businesses and non-profit organizations, and dealing with multinationals, I’ve done a bit of everything – following the famous Mark Twain quote “twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do”. That being said, my research at this moment is related to sustainability and social/circular economy.
I received my licenciature (Bsc) degree in 2008 in Business and Accounting and my master degree (Msc) in 2023 in Business Sciences – both from the School of Business Administration (Polytechnic Institute of Setubal). My thesis is closely related to my research interests, with the theme ”Social Economy and the R Principles in Third Sector Organizations in the District of Setúbal”.
At this moment I’m freelance trainer and mentor at ATEC (Volkswagen/Siemens/Bosch technical training center) and a member of the teaching staff at the Business Science and Communication Section from the Setubal School of Technology (Polytechnic Institute of Setubal). In these two schools/training centers I’ve been working with students with the aim of helping them achieve their goals – namely their own project/innovation/business idea.
