Education systems

Europe has a wide range of different vocational education and training systems, which differ e.g., in terms of, the duration, content and way in which it is organised. The education systems of the European partner countries Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands place a strong emphasis on the needs of working life and cooperation with companies. The trainings include a lot of learning in working life.

In Canada, the VET education system is divided by province, which means that each province has its own vocational education system. Education systems vary somewhat from province to province, but they all seek to prepare students for the world of work by providing practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

What all the countries involved in this project have in common is that the VET education system is internationally respected and recognized and allows students to develop their skills and successfully prepare for the world of work.
